Vingård ved Stellenbosch, hvor der er lavet vin i lille skala siden 1695. Det moderne Kleine Zalze opstod i 1996, da Kobus Basson og hans familie købte ejendommen. Filosofien er, at kvaliteten begynder i vinmarken, med sorter og kloner udvalgt til de enkelte jorde og skråninger. Platter's South African Wine Guide kårede i 2020 Kleine Zalze som Top Performing Winery of the Year. Sortimentet tæller Cellar Selection, Vineyard Selection, Family Reserve, Heritage Vineyards og Cap Classique.
