Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Corison Winery, trade sheet (hentet 17. okt. 2026): 2007 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Vintage-note (producentens tekst, engelsk): 2007 was the first of several droughty years with only 60% of normal rainfall. Warm weather in March resulted in an early bud-break but a long, moderate to cool summer lengthened the ripening season nicely and yielded wonderful natural acidity in the grapes. It was one of those vintages that made winemaking look easy. Warm, rich aromas feature cinnamon, pie crust, ripe plums and cassis fruit kissed by cocoa and anise. Layered flavors of black cherries, red currants, plums and pomegranate linger. The lush texture in the mouth is full and round and tempered with perfect balance and velvety tannins.
