Producentens noter (engelsk): Winemaking: From a single Chenin Blanc vineyard planted in 1989 on the Bottelary Hills, these mature bush vines yield small quantities of intensely concentrated fruit from shale soils with a granitic base. Grapes were hand-harvested early in the morning, whole- bunch pressed, and left to settle naturally. Fermentation took place spontaneously in seasoned 400L French oak barrels, with the wine matured on lees and barrels rolled monthly before blending and bottling.
