Producentens noter (engelsk): Viticulture: The grapes for this wine were sourced from selected vineyard parcels across the Coastal Region. The growing season provided excellent conditions for Merlot, with good winter rainfall, a mild spring, and a warm, even summer. Cool nights and dry weather promoted gradual ripening, allowing the grapes to develop rich fruit character while retaining freshness and balance. Stable harvest conditions enabled fruit to be picked at optimal ripeness, resulting in wines with ripe tannins, refined structure, and vibrant fruit expression. The 2025 vintage is expected to produce elegant, well-balanced Merlot with excellent concentration and ageing potential. Vinification: Following an early morning harvest, the grapes were destemmed, with the fermentation of the whole berries taking place in stainless-steel tanks to preserve fruit purity and ensure a refined, elegant wine style. Individual vineyard blocks were vinified separately, after which only the free-run wine was transferred to seasoned French oak barrels for approximately 12 months of maturation. A small portion was retained in stainless steel to maintain freshness and vibrancy in the final blend.
