Exploring boundaries has always been part of our philosophy and is exhibited in our winemaking approach. After many years of creating full-bodied Pinot Noir, we decided to craft a rosé from this exemplary grape variety. An ideal Martinborough season provided fruit with aromas of fresh strawberries and summer flowers. The juice was left in contact with the skins for a mere 2 hours then barrel fermented in old oak barrels. A very delicate flawless blush coloured Pinot Rosé has resulted. The refreshing palate reveals fresh crisp acidity and an enticing dry finish; a perfect accompaniment to summer celebrations. Totally refreshing.
