WINEMAKERS NOTE After many years of creating full-bodied Pinot Noir, we decided to craft a rosé from this exemplary grape variety. A cooler vintage has given us a delicate, floral style Rose with refreshing acidity. Fruit from our home block on Te Muna Rd, was hand-picked, then whole bunch pressed before wild fermentation in old oak barrels Following the great Rose from Provence, a very delicate flawless blush coloured Pinot Rosé has resulted. The refreshing palate reveals fresh crisp acidity and an enticing dry finish, a perfect accompaniment to summer celebrations. Totally refreshing. TASTING Lifted florals with delicate spice along with fresh red berries, form the backbone of this Rose. The palate is crisp and dry, with a long finish and lively acidity. Made to be drunk young and perfect on a warm summers Stelvin Screw Cap day.
