WINEMAKERS NOTE From the outstanding 2025 vintage, this is the second release of Sauvignon Blanc under the Escarpment label. Fermentation was carried out in a range of vessels, including stainless-steel tanks and French oak puncheons, with 10% of the blend matured in new oak. A small portion was fermented on skins, adding depth and texture. Both indigenous and selected yeast strains were used, and the wine was aged on lees for five months before bottling. This Sauvignon Blanc displays sophistication and texture, with a vibrant lime and mineral backbone that drives length and purity. The finish is bright and moreish — a wine that invites another glass. TASTING The wine leaps from the glass with expressive aromas of spring flowers, citrus peel, and guava.
