Producentens noter (engelsk): Pencarrow Pinot Gris 2019 A rich, soft and aromatic Pinot Gris. Pale straw with youthful clarity and vibrancy. Pristine fruit purity with moderate complexity and length, there is a gently creamy mid-palate balanced by grapefruit tartness that works perfectly to get the mouth watering. Just off-dry in style with loads of red apple freshness and summer sweetness, this is a crowd-pleasing style through and through. Fruit from our East Base vineyard, fermented in stainless steel to 13% alcohol and 10g/L residual sugar, aged for 2 months on lees before bottling. Bursting with pears, Rose apples and homemade lemonade, a hint of nutmeg, orange zest and honeysuckle. WINEMAKER Guy McMaster Very versatile with anything of Eastern descent, think Pad Thai, Vietnamese Summer Rolls or Sweet and Sour Pork. Also great with a classic pork roast with apple sauce.
