Fontanafredda (hentet 8. okt. 2026): Garnet red color with very slight purple reflections. The nose is fresh and complex, offering mentholated sensations accompanied by a delicate spicy note. On the palate, it reveals an excellent structure supported by lively acidity and perfectly integrated tannins, which give the wine great balance and a long finish. Barolo is the perfect pairing for important dishes, such as traditional Piedmontese meat main courses and medium-long aged cheeses. But that’s not all. If we explore the possibilities of world cuisine, we can find a range of original pairings: from rack of lamb with herbs to lamb tagine, Peking duck, or contemporary Asian dishes based on meat and mushrooms.
