Born from the gentle circumstances of 1995, Krug Clos d’Ambonnay 1995 exhibits exquisite grace, depth and beautiful structure. It is the first champagne from this unique plot of Pinot Noir. The harvest of 1995 in the Clos d’Ambonnay gave us wines with a promise of roundness, elegance and length. Tasting notes: Intense gold with slight hints of violet, recalling its Pinot Noir origins. The bouquet boasts remarkable complexity and intensity; it is opulently creamy with a hint of hazelnut and brioche along with papaya jam and mango aromas while also distinctive and earthy. On the palate, this Champagne is dense and intense with extraordinary freshness and wonderful length.
