Krug (hentet 2. nov. 2026): Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000 exalts the extreme purity of one of the finest terroirs in Champagne – a single walled plot of vines, the Clos du Mesnil – and of a single grape variety, Chardonnay - from a single year, 2000. A chiselled and elegant expression of its terroir, Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000 is the 15 th champagne from this unique plot, the first was created from the 1979 harvest. In 2000, nature had an opulent, elegant story to tell from the Clos du Mesnil. Tasting notes: Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000 has tones of luminous, very light gold with hints of green. On the nose, seductive aromas of ripe apple, toffee, barley sugar, short crust pastry, raisins, honey, acacia and citrus fruits. On the palate you will find indulgent flavours of peaches and white blossoms, gingerbread, honey and orange zest.
