Collection 1982

Krug (hentet 2. nov. 2026): Krug 1982 is a more full-bodied Krug vintage, less so than Krug 1959 or 1976 but reminiscent of the renowned Krug 1964 or even 1953. It is the result of blending opulent and powerful Pinot Noirs (54%), aromatic Chardonnays (30%) and spicy Meuniers (16%). Krug Collection 1982 a rather full-bodied champagne for the Maison, evocative of the renowned 1964 or even 1953 vintages. Tasting notes: At first sight, it is elegant with lasting bubbles and a fantastic colour seemingly untouched by time. On the nose, mocha aromas with hazelnut and an opulent rich maturity and depth, revealing a peppery tang. On the palate, rich honey and crystallized and tropic fruit with hints of mango and mild spices which slowly gain strength.
