Beskrivelse
Krug (hentet 2. nov. 2026): Composed around the harvest of 2007, Krug Rosé 20 ème Édition is a blend of 66 wines from 5 different years, the youngest from 2007, and the oldest from 2002. In all, reserve wines from the Maison’s extensive library made up 68% of the final blend of this Édition of Krug Rosé. The final composition of this Édition of Krug Rosé is 47% Pinot Noir, which includes the 10% traditionally macerated Pinot Noir wines, 37% Chardonnay and 16% Meunier. Krug Rosé 20 ème Édition was composed around the harvest of 2007. A year that defied all possible predictions, the extremes of 2007 pushed us to rethink everything we thought we knew. We had to challenge ourselves, to look with fresh eyes at what each individual plot of vines could give us. The early harvest revealed grapes with powerful aromas and discreet flavours. Ultimately, the wines of the year made up 68% of the final blend, bringing a joyful balance of tonicity and fresh fruit. The reserve wines added diversity, length and character. Tasting notes: At first sight, its subtle pale pink colour holds a promise of elegance. On the nose, aromas of rose hips, cured ham, mulberries, redcurrant, peony, pepper and pink grapefruit. On the palate, delicate flavours of honey, citrus and dried fruit with a long finish, enhanced by its fine bubbles complete the experience.
