Sassicaia 1975

Tenuta San Guido (hentet 13. okt. 2026): Sassicaia 1975 – klassifikation: Table Wine; druer: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (producenten angiver ingen procenter). Jord (producentens tekst, engelsk): The soils on which the vineyards stand has varied and complex terrain features with a strong presence of limestone, feature areas rich in marl and pebbles as well as being partly clayey. The production facilities are located at an average altitude of between 80 and 400 metres above sea level, with a west/south-west exposure. Vejret (producentens tekst, engelsk): A fantastic year, especially in Tuscany. Autumn and winter with average temperatures and frequent rainfall. A regular spring characterised by absence of winds and temperature swings that favoured budding and flowering. An excellent summer with sunny days and never excessive temperatures that marked the end of the harvest. Vinifikation (producentens tekst, engelsk): Fermentation took place in open Slavonian oak vats of between 20 and 54 hectolitres with maceration lasting about 8-9 days. Lagring (producentens tekst, engelsk): 75% of the ageing took place in 225-litre Slavonian oak barrels and 25% in new French Tronçais barrels. The Yugoslavian wood was 30% new and 70% first or second passage.
