Argiano (hentet 13. okt. 2026): Brunello di Montalcino 2015 – Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Druer: 100 % Sangiovese (producentens tekniske ark). Alkohol: 14.0 % vol. Jord (producentens tekst, engelsk): Marl, ancient clay with high-level of limestone. Højde (producentens tekst, engelsk): From 280 to 310 meters above sea level. Vinmarker (producentens tekst, engelsk): From 60 to 12 years old. Vejret (producentens tekst, engelsk): Average cold and dry winter. Spring with good rainfall and below average temperatures. Rainy and hot June and very hot summer. Constant grapes maturation thanks to water reserves and a mild September. The vintage was excellent in every aspect. Høst (producentens tekst, engelsk): End of September. Vinifikation (producentens tekst, engelsk): Spontaneous fermentation for about 2 weeks in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Maceration to extract color and mostly the strong aromatic profile. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks. Lagring (producentens tekst, engelsk): Aging of about 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels of different capacity (10/15/30/50 hl). Bottling in April/May following the most propitious moon phases. Long aging in bottle. TASTING NOTES BY BERNARDINO SANI, CEO AND WINEMAKER: The wine holds the power and style of the fantastic 2015 vintage. On the nose, very evident notes of plum and morello cherry typical of Brunello, but also a light spiciness, with well-integrated boisé. On the palate, it expresses a great vivacity and energy.
