Solengo 2021

Argiano (hentet 13. okt. 2026): Solengo 2021 – IGT Toscana Druer: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese (producentens tekniske ark). Alkohol: 14.5 % vol. Jord (producentens tekst, engelsk): Marl, ancient clay with high limestone concentration. Højde (producentens tekst, engelsk): From 280 to 310 meters above sea level. Vinmarker (producentens tekst, engelsk): From 22 to 15 years old. Vejret (producentens tekst, engelsk): The winter season was quite mild. Rainfall was infrequent, but still provided a good water reserve. The placid month of March brought forward budding by about a week. An unexpected frost in April and a rather torrid summer put the vineyards to the test. The vineyards responded very actively thanks to the good farming techniques put in place. Thanks to these, the vines showed great strength and had the energy to overcome the summer drought, keeping their physiological functions active and allowing them to ripen constantly and correctly. During the summer, despite the daytime heat, there were very interesting night-time temperature swings which ensured fantastic grape quality, allowing the formation of bunches with perfect veraison, concentrated and very healthy. Høst (producentens tekst, engelsk): First week of September. Vinifikation (producentens tekst, engelsk): Fermentations done per varietals, maceration for about 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in cement. Lagring (producentens tekst, engelsk): About 18 months in French barriques of producers specially chosen for this wine. 60% new and 40% second use. TASTING NOTES BY BERNARDINO SANI, CEO AND WINEMAKER: Great bouquet characterized by aromas of berries, chocolate and enriched by a slight spiciness and woody note very well integrated. A wine with velvety tannins but at the same time, dense and long lasting. Great structure and tension.
