Beskrivelse
San Polino (hentet 14. okt. 2026): Brunello di Montalcino Helichrysum 2016 – Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Druer: 100 % Sangiovese (appellationens/producentens sammensætning). Alkohol: 14.5 % vol. Producentens tekst (uddrag, originalsprog): Terroir | Our south-facing vineyard at 450 meters above sea level, rests on highly heterogeneous soils: predominantly sandy loam and volcanic, interwoven with marl veins. This unique terroir contributes depth, structure, and striking minerality. | Weather | A cold winter was followed by a relatively fresh spring, with occasional rainy spells, and balanced temperatures in the summer, with great temperature variations. Occasional bad weather never compromised the grape quality, but rather provided the plants with the perfect amount of rainwater, and led to no significant issues. A combination of fresh and dry nights in late ripening allowed to achieve a perfect maturation. | Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in 35 hl t ronic barrels, allowing the natural microbiome to shape the wine’s character. | Three days of cold maceration before fermentation, followed by 30 days of skin contact post-fermentation. | Six months of bâtonnage in French barriques, followed by four years of maturation in large Slavonian and French oak barrels. | Production | 3000 bottles | Alcohol content | 14.5° | Alcohol content 14.5°
